The New York Coffee Festival - Coffee, Music and Art September 25-27
From Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, The New York Coffee Festival will take place at the 69th Regiment Armory. The event is being launched by Allegra Events LTD as part of Coffee Week NYC™.
This inaugural event held in honor of the go-to drink for breakfast, lunch, dinner and aperitif for many will feature gourmet street food, The Espresso Martini Bar, live music from The Coffee Music Project music competition and The Coffee Art Project Gallery, which is open to artists in all mediums who have original artwork that present a unique and personal connection to coffee and/or the coffee shop experience.
Along with in-depth workshops and seminars presented in brunch, lunch and afternoon sessions, Starbucks Reserve, La Colombe, Steampunk, Joe, Irving Farm, La Marzocco, Pacific Foods and La Cimbali will be among the 70+ exhibitors at the event.
The baristas behind that cup of Joe you can't do without will get their time to shine during the Coffee Masters NYC barista championship.
Allegra Events LTD has produced coffee festivals in London and Amsterdam and according to Jeffrey Young, CEO of Allegra Group, they are "aiming to promote the vibrancy of New York and the entire US coffee industry." As with the rise of farm-to-table culture, craft beer and artisan condiments, coffee is experiencing its 'Fourth Wave' making it an exciting time for coffee culture.
The New York Coffee Festival will donate 50% of ticket proceeds via Allegra Group's initiative Project Waterfall to charity: water which brings clean water to coffee producing nations, Rwanda, Tanzania and Ethiopia.
