On Saturday, I returned home to an enticing invitation in the mail. Around the World in 80 Sweets, it read. An evening with the World's Best Pastry Chefs.

I, {The} Native Creative Concierge, do love a buttery, flaky pastry. Bonus points if cream, fruit preserves or chocolate are involved. 

For one night only, on Monday, April 4, Around the World in 80 Sweets will take place at Eventi Hotel. From 6:30 to 8:30 PM pastry chefs and artistes de chocolat will share their creations with attendees. Champagne and beer will be available to accompany the tastings and as a result it is a 21 and over event.

Tickets for Around the World in 80 Sweets cost $125 and 100% of the proceeds go to City Harvest. 
 

Renowed New York chefs Marcus Samuelsson, Anita Lo, Geoffrey Zakarian and Bill Telepan will provide savory tastes to balance out the sweets. 

Around the World in 80 Sweets sounds like a great way to indulge in pastries from acclaimed New York pastry chefs and bakeries you might not be able to visit on your own while in NY. Many are stops I include on my excursions I plan for clients who express interest in yumminess.
