Jamaican Jerk Festival in Queens, NY
New York's largest Caribbean Food Festival returns on Sunday, July 17 in New York's most culturally diverse borough, Queens.
The 6th annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival will feature reggae music and performances, vendors, and of course, jerk. Chefs will compete in the Jerk Cook-Off. If the heat of jerk is too much, there are tons of other options; over 30 food booths will be open at the festival.
For the pickney, there will be a bounce house, face painting, hot dogs and cotton candy in the Kid's Zone.
The event takes place at Roy Wilkins Park from 12 to 8PM.
Tickets can be purchased online and at various locations across the Tri-state area (New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut). Tickets are $60 for a pair. Children under 12 are free.
